Independent Comic Book creators Bluewater Productions have a new series coming. Their "Fame" comic book line will feature unauthorized biographies of celebrities from both the music and the movie world. The 1st release will be pop music's "lady" of the year and Rogue featured artist, the one and only Lady Gaga. Bluewater has already released 3 different covers for the artwork, each uniquely drawn from separate memorable looks of Gaga.

The "Fame" series stems from Bluewater Productions' 2009 "Female Force" and "Political Power" releases. Focusing on non-fictional "characters" and social commentary, both lines proved to be an original niche in the comic book world which quickly broke Bluewater into the mainstream. The "Political Power" series featured President Barack Obama and Joe Biden and "Female Force" drew heavy attention with the Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton comics. In creating the new "Fame" series Bluewater President Darren G. Davis said "there were many who had never picked up a graphic novel or comic book buy our biography titles like Female Force and Political Power. Fame is the natural extension of that trend."
The preview issue of "Fame: Lady Gaga" will be available in May for "Free Comic Book Day," you can expect Rogue to do a feature on that as well. Future issues in the series will showcase a variety of other pop icons such as 50 Cent, Taylor Swift, and David Beckham. In addition to the "Fame" series, future issues of "Political Power" will include Al Gore, Nelson Mandela and Bill Clinton and the "Female Force" will feature Michelle Obama, Nancy Pelosi, and Ellen DeGeneres.
